Has any one had it? Im not sure if i am and my doctors is useless id have more luck getting to a different country without buying a ticket than getting an appointment.

Ever since having a little one, ive had maybe 5-7 cups a day always my first drink when i wake up. Last couple days i have had less, now other night i was very dizzy and nearly fell on my ass in living room, headaches and just eyes feeling heavy and strained, slight headache near front.

The past couple of days most ive had is maybe 3? so its only why im leaning to that thinking.

Im only asking here as usual most PC users love the stuff :P I am fussy and also have very little milk in mine so usual strong coffee all the time

I used to think it was a myth, I'd sigh at those people who say "I need my morning coffee".

I now believe these people, as I now very much know about it if I don't have coffee in the morning.

I first noticed it when I did a shift job. I'd only ever really have coffee at work, and then on my 4 days off I'd not touch it. I started getting bad head/neck aching and tiredness, and after dealing with it for a week or so I decided to make myself one at home and bam, the symptoms were gone within minutes.

When I went from drinking normal tea to decaf tea , i had a few days with headaches, dizzyness. But it cleared up quick enough.

That was a complete stop from drinking 4-5 cups to none.

Sounds a bit extreme...

I drink up to 3 pints of coffee a day, can be sure about this as I use a pint mug. Can also not drink it and not care.

There's a whole bunch of OTHER things which bother me which make any coffee drama seem like small beans but I'm pretty sure coffee doesn't bother me.

I've cut down lately as my sleep is dire. I used to get through about ten cups of tea a day. I'm down to one in the morning and caffeine free red bush tea the rest of the day, with maybe a coffee late morning if I'm flagging.

I drank around 10 cups of tea a day until 2 months ago when I decided to stop. It wasn't for caffeine reasons, more to do with stomach issues.

I can't say I noticed anything really, I'm tired with or without it :D.

I was a massive caffeine addict in the form of pre-workout drinks, taking 200-400mg almost every day. This was for the past 7-8 years. I'm suprised there's not been any long term affects caused by it. In December I decided to stop drinking them and in turn stop taking caffeine as a whole - I didn't ease myself out of it, just stopped taking them.

For the first 2 weeks or so I was noticeably more tired in the afternoons (always went the gym early morning) and had the odd headache. I upped my water intake which solved the headaches. I still get tired 4 months on but I'm almost certain it's related to my iron levels.

I expected to be on deaths bed given how much I was having, but really wasn't that bad :D

This past week is the first time I've had caffeine since quitting.

I have maybe 5-6 cups of tea a day but switched to decaf as I was getting a lot of headaches.

yes and your symptoms sound typical, i have never tried to stop myself having coffee but at times i have missed a morning drink i start to feel lousy around lunch time.

from what i understand caffeine contracts the blood vessels in your head and without it they expand and cause the headaches.

Went cold turkey once myself. Was awful for about 4-5 days, grouchy, headaches, shakes. Water helped. After those few days it went away totally.

Was back on it after 6 months though. I like my tea too much.

Luck of the genetics on headaches imo. Could just be more sensitive to the effects of caffeine.

Really rare for me to get headaches for any reason.
