Where can you get them, and how long in advance do you need to take stuff in to prepare?

Ta for any help :)

Our local ASDA do that sort of service :)

Think its a pretty quick turnaround, although I've never done it apart from when I got one for my 21st :o

Asda, I don't think the turnaround time is that high really as they are just using an inkjet style printer loaded with edible ink/foodcolouring onto a sheet of icing or summat ...

probably takes them longest to work out how to use the software ;)

Oh ok, ages yet still, just doing a bit of early prep work in case we went in the day before and they said to pick it up 3 days later or something :p

I think some of the larger Tesco stores do them too. Had one at a mates birthday recently where his eyes were cut out and swapped over and his mouth turned upside down :p Looked a bit freaky

I'd pop in or give em a ring make sure they have a cake on the day you want it.

Think it only cost a tenner or something, did it for my friends 25th, took the photo in and only took 20mins tops.

Sainsbury's do them too.

The cakes are boxed on the shelves like any other "normal" birthday cake. Just take your cake and photo to the bakery counter...I *think* they do it while you wait iirc.
