Calibrated Monitors for Photo Editing?

I use the Dell U2713HM monitor, alternatively if you NEED aRGB (most people's workflows don't) then the CCFL version would he your best bet (U2713H) but bear in mind it's much bulkier and uses much more electricity (and produces much more heat).
 
I got the Dell U3014 about a week ago and that can be fully calibrated into the monitors LUT. OCUK had £80 off so I jumped.

Barely been at home to use it and don't have the right calibrator yet (Roll on house sale on May 16th!)
