Calibrating Dell S2716DG

Hi, so bought this monitor last week and having a hard time finding the best settings and calibrating it, I have followed someone else's on YouTube but doesn't look quite right to me and is to dark.

Any other people using this monitor and feel they've got their colours just right? Would appreciate the help. I'm useless at this sort of thing haha.

Think that is the latest approach I'm using.

Generally I've not found using an ICC profile from 3rd party sources for this monitor to necessarily produce the best results as they all seem just a little bit different enough that it doesn't quite work.

Unfortunately you will probably need to tweak a bit to get the best RGB settings which really needs a good reference to compare against - mine was pretty good with 99, 99, 96 out the box but seems to have settled a bit in the months subsequent and now looks a touch too red with those settings so I'm just using 100, 93, 100 as it seems to make the colours nice without being too inaccurate.

The problem is that all panels are different so you can't rely on other people's setting. you can try calibrating using these websites as a guide:

I ended up buying a spyder lite and using displaycal to calibrate my monitor.
