Calibrating monitor and printer.

I have a Dell 2407WFP and a Canon MG5250 printer. I also have a Pantone Huey Pro.

I have run the screen calibration but the prints are a lot darker than the on screen images.

What can I do to get the prints/images look similar?

Calibrate your monitor to a lower luminance or increase the brightness of your print viewing conditions. I warn you though, assuming proper working environment for editing images (very dim room), your monitor likely won't actually go dark enough to match the prints without introducing problems.

What luminance are you calibrating the screen too?

I have just used the automated Huey software. Not sure what the luminance is too be honest.
