Calibre Bossnut vs Giant Stance 27.5 2

Just wondering if anyone owns either of the two bikes in the title. If so how are you getting on with them, and would you recommend?

I'm looking at <£1000 as my budget, and these seem to tick all of the right boxes for me. Anything else I've missed?

I have a friend who has the bossnut, he's very happy with it, feels heavy to me, but I might be comparing it to mine which is quite light.

He's had no significant mechanical issues, needed a bit of adjusting in the gears after a few months but thats to be expected.
 
Just been reading the reviews on the Bossnut, everyone is raving about it!

I am starting to get into MTB and have ridden Hamsterley trails a few times and love it. Currently using a Hardtrail but if I do get into it more the Bossnut seems a very very good buy.

Get the GO discount card and search for another discount code and it is yours for £899.99! People are saying it blows bikes which cost double, if not more out the water!
 
What's the Bossnut warranty like? Giant's one is meant to be quite good.

I've just ordered a Stance 2 in XL. I was interested in other bikes, but my employer's C2W scheme was tied to two local Giant outlets only. Still, the Stance is meant to be good. Looking forward to getting out on it and getting fitter!
 
Have you done much more reading up?

Giant Trance 2's seem to go second hand in very good condition for around £850ish...looking at the specs though the Bossnut seems a very good buy for £899 brand new. May need to contact GO though as no mention as to the Warranty.
