I've just had to phone Sky up as I was getting no signal on my sky+ box. I ended up talking to someone with a very heavy Indian accent, so much so that I had to get him to repeat the instructions 3 times everytime. I couldn't care less what country I end up ringing so long as I can understand what they are saying and are speaking English past infant level  I'm tempted to send a letter of complaint into Sky over this as something that could have been fixed in a couple of minutes ended up taking nearly 10 minutes due to me not understanding him, my question is, would Sky actually do anything with the letter or would it go into the round filing tray on the floor? :(

What fixed it?

I ended up having to go into the installer settings and turn off 2 options - lnb and something else - save the settings, go back into it and turn them on again.

Get your ears/brain tested :p I have no problems understanding people from Indian call centres :)

I deal with people from all over the world while at work and can understand them no worries, but when someone who has only a basic understanding of English with a very, very strong accent tries to talk to me I have to really listen to try and hear what they are saying.
