Call from a 13 digit number

Got two calls today from a 13 digit phone number. Both of which I missed

Usually I wouldn't even think about it. But I am expecting a courier call possible from abroad.

The number starts 02163.

So it isn't even the 00 International call that sometimes happens.

Any ideas GD?

Likely a fake number telling you of a problem with your windows computer sir. They seem to have started up again after a brief COVID-19 gap.

No, it will be Amazon Prime telling you you only have 24hr before your account gets turned off.

Oh I very much doubt you dont need to have prime to get the call, but it does help them if you do.

I remember I kept getting calls/recorded messages on my mobile from some investment group and to press 1 if you wanted some one to give you a call back to speak to someone. So after about a month of daily calls I started to press one and opn receiving the calls I would tell the people to stop phoning me.

After a while they actually started to get annoyed at me for making them call me back just to be told to stop phoning me. It was bizzarre but amusing.

Ya, you don't need it. I get calls on my office landline telling me about my Prime account despite my account only being linked to my mobile number.
