Hey up,

Weird one lol

Had a call from an orange customer services guy,

A mad Newcaslte lad lol, weird number they use 0797 3100194

Didnt believe it was genuine at first, as it sounded like he was in a pub lol.

Turns out it is genuine, went through my contract checking i was happy with the call allowance and the inclusive stuff an such.

Decnt bloke, had a laugh, and made recomendations on what data usage i was using on my k800i and such for sat nav and so on. Didnt try to push me into anything as he then informed me i have data free for 3 months.

Never had this in 3+ years with voda or 5+ years with o2.

I for one cant back up your love for Orange - I am currently on hold (and have been for 32:17) waiting for Customer Services. I have had my phone for less than a month and have had no ends of problems - Cant make calls in 3G areas without having to retry 2 or 3 times, getting "Invalid Sim" every other day and my phone shows as unable to recieve calls without fail every day. To make it worse I have been in touch with Orange about this 3 times - 2 times they said they had network problems but last time I was told that the tech's would have a look into my problem and have a call back within 72hrs - that was last wednesday. If they dont pick up within the next 15mins I am canceling my contract, they can shove their contract.

Was nice to get a call from a uk resident. i was thinking wtf, he has to be a scammer its not a call from a foreign call cent.
 
I was very sad when I left Orange last year after being with them for about 12 years.
In all the time I was with them they were an excellent company to deal with.
I remember getting a call after I bought my first Samsung phone.
They said they noticed that all my phones before had been Nokia and they just wanted to make sure I was getting on OK with the Samsung - top quality service.

All I will say is watch your bill with regards the 3 months of free data.
I got a call from Orange once and they offered me some free picture message bundle as a trial.
However they didn't mention that unless I called them up and cancelled it would be automatically added to my bill.
So once I'd used the free allowance up a bundle was added and I was charged.
Only took a phone call to get the bundle removed and the money refunded - but it was still a small hassle.

I must have got free data for 6 months but no one told me and no one told me when it finished, ended up with a bill with £100+ :(
