call of duty 1,

if you havent played cod1 or cod2 get both of them,
cod2 is just better graphic but gameplay is as good as the first one,
enjoy once you receive it,

not saying games like bf2 and wow arent good but pick up and play mulyiplayer shooters are in short supply these days, and are by far the best imo
i hear these will fill the gap nicely
 
CoD creates one of the best atmospheres in any game I've played. Granted it is usually just a lot of gun-fire, shouting and shells blowing up around you but it just makes it a better game.

I'm going through CoD2 again and I'm lovin' it :D

Tim: What do you dislike about it? I found it pretty similar apart from the health system which is a bit lame.

The HUD (i think thats what its called) and the stupid red dots that tell the noobs where you are with needing to listen :mad: and the russian smg Ppsh (think that is) just to powerful compared to other weapons

those are the things that i dont like
 
The CoD genre of games still have a fantastic following online. Many CoD2 players I believe, have become frustrated with CoD2 and returned to CoD and CoD-UO. CoD-UO version 1.41 which is straight out of the box basic still enjoys busy servers. The lastest version being 1.51.

i agree, the first game was fantastic. UO looked much better but added new maps and frills to the game. COD2 is just a grphical update of UO i reckon, with very little extra added, and its not as good to play either.
 
need wow on there tbh ;)

cod and cod uo are great games, if i wasnt so used to cod 2 id play them. cod 2 is ok, graphics are pretty good but its not as good as cod uo tbh, was a step back if you ask me.
 
CoD:UO is Wolfenstein with a new label. I.e. NOT cod. No surprises given IW leeched the Wolfenstein Development team to make it..

They wanted a piece of the BF cake, and failed. It sucks, both from a BF type game perspective, and a CoD perspective.

CoD2 is good for laugh, but you can't take it seriously. Too many bugs with clipping and hitboxes, even worse than cod1. High pingers have the definate advantage. It's like ping is the multiplier for opponents hitbox size.

However they still haven't sorted out the one thing that holds this game (and any like it) back.. the nades. Far to powerful and far to noobish.. "tac nades" are the lamest of the lame and literally ruin the fun of the game.

The call of duty series online is now full of hackers, so stay well away online but single player is absolutely amazing:
