Call of Duty 2 - 99% CPU Usage!

That can't be good, surely? This points straight to a CPU bottleneck I think .

A64 3200+ @ Stock
x800XlGTO2 OC'd a bit
2Gb RAM (4 x 512mb GEIL value)

I was hoping to get an x1800xt from OCuK but if my CPU isn't even up to the job of an x800 there's no use. Is this the case?

I was looking around and other people say that they get 30-40% CPU usage, which is a lot less than 99%. My CPU is being maxxed out basically.

When running iTunes/FF/MSN I get 4%~ so no Spyware/Adware etc.

That sounds much better than I thought! I was hoping that it wouldn't be a Bottleneck. Thanks for the info.

So I'm not likely to get a Bottleneck with an X1800Xt then?
