call of duty 2 on x64?

i am having trouble running call of duty 2 on vista ultimate 64. every time i lanch the game it crashes, has anyone else had this problem? and if so how do you fix it!

I had this problem.

I fixed it by running it in Windows XP SP2 compatability mode.

Right click the shortcut of the game, and then go to the Compatability tab and then switch it to Windows XP SP2.

I did this and it works flawlessly

Since I did a fresh install though it all seems fine?

It works fine for me but I made sure it was patched right upto the last official patch.

why not just right click and choose to always run under admin mode,that way all the problems you have are fixed at once.
