Call Of Duty 2 Patch Problems

Hey, i currently have Call Of Duty 2 installed running on patch 1.3, But i want to install patch 1.2 then 1.3 because i got kicked from a server saying im running the wrong patch... my friend said the reason could be that the server is running the old patch and maybe i can only play on it with both patches installed.

So my question is, how do i uninstall patch 1.3 so i can install patch 1.2 first.. because it wont let me install 1.2 because 1.3 is a more up to date patch.

I'd recommend checking with IWNation.com forums.

I seem to remember something happening along those lines maybe with that ages ago for me(1.2 though last spring or something), and the result was I needed to reinstall.

If you want to go to patch 1.2 from 1.3 you will have to reinstall the game which will take it to patch 1.1 (if you had the release version) but if you have the game of the year edition (that starts off on version 1.3, I think so thats impossible)

Regarding you being kicked, that has nothing to do with your patch version, if you have a patch, there is no way to get onto different patched servers.

You need to go to http://evenbalance.com/index.php?page=dl-cod2.php and near enough at the top of the page, download PBSetup, run that program and update CoD2's Punkbuster.

Using PB update didnt work... it did update my pb i think but it never stopped me from getting kicked :'( im sad now.
