Call of Duty 2 Punkbuster Issue

Not sure if this is in the right forum, just move it if needs be.

Today i appear to be having a Punkbuster problem, where it causes a blank blue screen to appear for a few seconds before restarting my whole system. I have updated graphics drivers and chipset drivers but to no avail. The reason i believe it to be Punkbuster is that i can play other games fine (non PB games) and even single player CoD2. I changed graphics cards from a 9600XT to a 9800 Pro, which didnt fix the problem either. This only has occured today, when ive made no software changes and have been playing the game since January.

For your information, system specs:

AMD Athlon 2500+ (Barton)
Gigabyte Mobo (nForce 2 Chipset)
Radeon 9800 Pro
2 x 512mb OCZ Ram
Antec 480W PSU.

Try reinstalling the game and patch.

When you reinstall, make sure you delete everything in the folder left behind apart from save games and settings file(Main/save)

It might be a previous mod autodownloaded causing a conflict.
 
Yeah, i've just done that mate. I went into a Non-PB server and i didnt get this blue screen nonsense, as soon as i went into a server with Punkbuster running it happened in under a minute. Really strange as this wasnt happening yesterday. Has there been a punkbuster update since yesterday?

It's something to do with the update on Friday nite i think. Conflicting somewhere, just got to find out where :p . Am talkin to evenbalance so, cheers anyway. :)
