Call of Duty 3 Xbox 1 reload button help

Hi all, I wonder if anyone can tell me what the reload button is in Call of Duty 3 on the Xbox 1, as I rented it out and I realised when I got home, that there is no instruction box with it, so I am trying to learn the controls.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

If it's anything like the xbox 360 version, X should reload your gun.

I did press the blue X, but it did not seem to work, so that why I asked

Probably using the Garand, can't reload mid-clip.

It's the same with the 360 version. Is that a bug or something?

No. You have to discharge the whole clip before you can reload.

Yes but with all the other guns you can shoot one bullet from the clip and reload... why is it that you can only just do the one bullet with this weapon? I am sure it wasnt like that in cod2 (though I only played a bit of cod2 to be fair)

The gun is designed like it in real life..

You need to shoot the whole clip then you hear a metallic bang and then the whole clip flies out. Then you can reload.

Hm, I was wondering if they modeled the behavior as it was in real life or something.. guess I know now

It was the first rifle with a clip, and can only be fed a full clip of 8 rounds.

the garrand could be reloaded halfway through but took ages, so they used to just wait till the clip pinged out
