Simply the best gaming experience ever.

If you haven't played it in 3d you're missing out big time. Usually 3d hinders the experience slightly, and has the odd thing out of depth etc. I can tell you now, after playing the first 4 levels/stages it's incredible. Seriously amazing. Crosshair's at depth perfect, aiming down iron sights is unbelievable.

Can't promote it enough. Anyone here tried!??!

It's worth getting 3d vision JUST for this game!

Seriously. I'm running it from a 470gtx clocked at 760 at 1680x1050. It's amazing. AMAZING. No down sides. Except if you're being picky. The monitors on the menu screen show 3d footage. So I can see THROUGH the monitor into a 3d image of me strapped to the chair. Pretty cool really, but obviously not correct. (unless i'm supposed to have 3d glasses on and the tv is a 3d one...anyway)

The game is stupidly linear but I'm enjoying it nevertheless. Downloaded the new patch and all seems to be smooth! No problems at all cept 1 crash when alt-tabbing out.

Nvidia say 3d support is rated "excellent" but was only til I started playing.. was on the level with the rocket (you have to shoot it down with the rocket launcher etc). And It was GREAT. Shot it, bits everywhere! Partical effects were amazing. Fire's everywhere. Can't describe how amazing it was. Just TRY IT. Go to a friends or whatever. But it's the best gaming experience ever... Then when you use the explosive crossbow, and fire the zip line. That bit in slow mo with the glass in 3d etc, is SICK.

PLAY IT IN 3D!

Please tell me someone has here..
 
I don't have 3DTV nor will I ever get it. Hate even watching movies in the cinema in 3d.

Can't explain it but I just don't like it.
 
Why cant games just use old fashioned blue/red 3D.

Then everyone can experience it without shelling out for new kit, Trackmania is already like this.
 
Nvidia allow the use of old anaglyph glasses (cyan and red or whatever). It's a way of testing the 3d quality before actually buying their shutter glasses.

I'm not bothered if any of you buy the 3d stuff. Just telling you to go out and try it. Because I found it to be great. If anyone had a different opinion and reason then I wanted to know :)

Also, the reason new games won't all use anaglyph is because it can't display the colour spectrum accurately. Shutter glasses can. But yes, Nvidia's 3d drivers allow you to choose between them. You'll notice the washed out colours of red/blue glasses when you use the shutters.

PS: Wouldn't use 3d for multiplayer as i'd want all the fps I could get. When playing singleplayer though it completely compliments the game.

No one else played it here?

Most can, 3d vision "discover" when using an nvidia graphics card. I used it for a little while before deciding to go for a 3d 720p projector and the 3d vision kit. 3D on 90" screen is rather nice :)

Because its blinkin awful? I tried the glasses that came with Trackmania and I cant imagine anyone being bonkers enough not to realise after 10 seconds of wearing them that its nothing more than eye torture.
