Call of duty: world at war still played?

Not a fan of the more current cod games but wouldnt mind trying the last ww2 one, however how is it online these days? I tried cod 4 recently and couldnt find a standard server it was all "pro mod" and other jank that just auto installs every time you join a server

I eventually got on one and it was like a fast xp server and just felt dodgy

Is this the same for WaW? Never played much of it in the past

Unfortunately yes. I love waw and still have it installed but like cod4 all mostly modded servers which is a shame but the fast xp just devalues the ranking system!

Still good fun though and I'm looking forward to cod4 remastered
