Call of Juarez Starforce Key Problems

Right,
Got Call of Juarez free with my Ati card however the key provided on the back of the paper cd case doesnt work with the Starforce protection client. It keeps saying that the key provided is wrong but I really cant find any other key to use. Furthermore, when I put the key in and it tells me its wrong, the Starforce client changes the key when I go back to put it in again. Not only does it change the actual letters of the key I provided but it also changes the format of the key.
I looked on google and it looks like I should've been given another key as well .
How did you guys sort it - those that got it free from ocuk?
 
Had the exact same problem and found that this:-
http://support.focus-home.fr/COJ_DVDPatch_1.1.1.0.zip sorted it out. I followed the instructions thinking I could play the game without the dvd in.
What happened was the game wouldn't play with no dvd in so I put it in and hey presto Starforce no longer asked for the cd key and the game played no problem. Please note I am playing on Vista 64 Dx10. Try this at your own risk but it worked for me. Good luck.:)

A friend had a same issue with a Starforce code, it kept saying it was wrong.

In the end had to do it the asey way and now he can play without the DVD without issue.

There is an update on the Starforce site you can try but it didn't help for my friend though.

Well I have the game to full update and that didn't work - thanks anyway.
I even sent an email to tech support . They gave me a code and it says wrong key entered. :/

I'll go on the Starforce site then and see how I get on - thanks.
