Picked it up for £5 and went and gave it a go. Great little game, very linear and simple but done very well. Which makes it really easy to get into. Loved the whole two characters thing, with the constant change in pace keeping things fresh. Nice shooting mechanics, when you come out of slo-mo with 3 people falling to the floor before they've fired a shot is really quite rewarding!

If you haven't tried this, I'd advise you to pick it up cheap and give it a go.

Talking bout the new one i suppose, absolutely loved it, great atmosphere, gameplay very cool but mostly impressed with the storytelling, ambience and the whole feel of it, great game!

I agree, it's one of my most popular games :) I would play it in DX9 first and then do the DX10 upgrade, as some of the levels change when you do the upgrade.

Loved the ending too, and was taxing in places, but never too much that you thought it was unfair.

Underated for sure, the priest is a badass :D

People with the PC version should certainly get the DX10 patch though. Makes the game look staggeringly good!

Just to add, the first CoJ was a good game but with the dx 10 patch it hurt my performance a lot. A couple of years on, the second part (bound in blood) looks a thousand times better, i have same system but the performance is incredible solid 70+fps all cranked up. Just saying that first CoJ was not optimised. Get the second one too, its awesome :D.

Totally agree, I played my way through the first game and it was extremely well put together and fun. Except for the climbing the big rock level :(

It's one of those games that I can still remember the ending to with utmost clarity. I hear CoJ2 is really good as well.

It was alright except for all the sneaking, and the linearity got a bit tedious. Why arent there more wild west games?
