Devvo the Fatpie Chav will be on E4 on July 7th, there is no approximate time but its playing whenever this is E4

I am guessing only Devvo fans will know what I am on about :D

I've been watching Devvo from the start of it and whilst it's always funny, you soon realised that it wasn't real.

Classic!...

Tru Chav Culture opened up for us all to see!.. (even if it is Fake!!)

I'm definatly gonna be watching!...

I've even got the MP3's of his Songs!... (now their realy Bangin'!)

About a year ago when Devvo was first wrote about many people on here thought he was for real.
I'm glad 12 months on and most people can see he's 'not really a chav'.

Couldn't make sense of that first sentence? :)

Has anybody categorical evidence that he isn't real to show us? I.e. a video of Devvo in a penthouse apartment working on his latest project :p

I'm not convinced anybody's that good an actor.

EDIT: Now I am shocked.

I realise you now know its all live action documentaries by a bloke called David Firth but just watch the videos again. I've seen about ten of them and in every one he can't keep a straight face and is laughing all the way through. Watch the one with the supermarket trolley and it all sinks in. It was the bad acting that convinced me it wasn't for real.

i thought this thread was going to be about devo when i first saw it, especially in the music forum!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Devo

The very first time I saw Devo on the Old Grey Whistle Test all those years ago, I actually woke up in the morning thinking I dreamt them up.
Are we not men - We are Devo.
I always thought I dreamt Faith no More's - We Care A lot also.

I just watched the most recent two online and i have to say um.. thats not funny :p I never thought Salad Fingers was funny either - i dont understand the fuss :\

haha, you should write your own webpage with stories relating to music and bands you've seen, it'd be a hit.

My first 'experience' was status Quo in 1970. Quo hit the stage, I ran down the front, started headbanging and woke up in the First Aid room in Victoria Hall.
I'd knocked myself out on the front of the stage.
Perhaps I will write my memoires one day.

Devvo isn't real (maaaate). There's a fair few vids on Fat-Pie where you can see the chap who plays him.
