Yeah i seen, just wondered if there were any others who might have been on the Eldar server.
Got a LvL 50 minstrel and LvL 49 hunter and in a good kin, so was going to offer our services to any lonely adventurer's!
If you have a lifetime sub why didn't you just update it and see? And as for it running 20fps slower than WoW, that's hardly surprising considering how much better it looks. 40fps isnt exactly slow anyway.
We not the biggest of kins either but got enough to raid now and do various other events too! Dont have my own house but we got a large kin house in the Bree homesteads with quite a nice selection of trophies including the mighty Thaurlach's Blade!
Nice. I've just tried the PvP play and that was fun (if a little laggy at time - but this probably due to the crap device that calls itselft a wireless usb nic) for a change.
Now concentrating on getting to level 50 with my hunter. Then going to level up the champion. The Kin i'm in at the moment only has about 10 active players - which is enough for most things - no Kinship house as of yet though.

As Loki lost interest in his crafting night before it started and none of the Kin with the required crafting profession were online last night I was unable to obtain the required items to finish the crafting quests that are clogging up my quest log.
So, if any kind soul on the Snowborn server is able to produce any of the following I would be most grateful.
1 Bronze Leggings
1 Bronze Gloves
1 Bronze Helm
2 x Roast Pork
2 x Hard Biscuits

I too have problems with PvP being a bit laggy have to put my settings on low, just like when i am raiding but i guess having an X800gt graphics card dorsnt help! But up to know my Minstrel is Esquire but no stars and my hunter as achieved Esquire full star but things in the moors have got a little easier for the freeps since book 12 as everyone is trying for the moors armour but i believe with Book 13 the creeps get there very own healer in the shape of a defiller so might even things up slightly!
I too cant wait to reach LvL 50 with my hunter so i can hit the moors with the trusty heart seeker!

I've only started messing around with the PvP thing yesterday - so I have 37 reknown points (ace hey!).
I only got squished once as well and that was because of the lag! Everything stopped for over a minute and then I was at the respawn point.
I'll probably do a hour of levelling followed by a few hours of squishing!

Been killed 3 times upto now with my hunter and all 3 times was because the game crashed, and i put that down to the sound settings if i am honest!
Nothing better than getting ganked by a bunch of wargs and hitting the desperate flight! How that must annoy them, but i suppose thats only the same as what they do with there skill!

I've been reading a lot of posts on DF and how it should be removed from Ettenmoors. I've also read some posts from hunters saying they don't use it.
I think it's all rubbish if I'm getting owned by a player or monster I have that skill I'll use it. Saves a massive repair bill and means I can run straight back in and have another go..
Use all your skills available to you!

If they remove that are they going to the same with burg's using there hide n seek and remove the wargs ability similar to burg's hide n sneek and DF! Got to keep it fair! Can't see them doing it if i am honest and regarding hunters not using it? I find that hard to believe but you never now!
At moment we are focusing on the rift and the occasional CD/URU/BG runs just for the drops etc.
DF is not a problem for most of us Creep players as Hunters are very squishy and easy to kill, it's the 'easymode' burglars who ruin the moors fun, afterall this is meant to be MP v P and not a zerg game. I moved from Snowbourn to Laurelin some time ago and theres actually some degree of sportsmanship between a lot of high ranked creeps/freeps. We just need the kids to go back to school so that the 'real' players can get back to the insane battles and decent fights (Pre Bk12)..
The Defiler class hasn't had much detail released but were guessing they can nullify a lot of stealth and CC which is much needed on the creeps side, also news of possible changes to LM's stuns and roots in the moors might also be welcome news. IMO they should get rid of the useless star system for not dying, that way everyone wouldnt care about deaths and just get stuck in !
m4cc45: Fighting a creep and dying does not incur repair bills, you only get them from fighting NPC's, as for using the skills thats fine, but what are you going to do then ? sit around for 30mins before rejoining the battle ? (believe me it happens!)

Ah I didn't know that about the repairs! Cool!
After I have used DF I go back straight in (healing time first obviously). If I've used the skill and need it again then it's tough. Same with PvE I may use DF to get out of the way (or in some cases a quick way back to the camps where there are no recalls) but I then get straight back out and get on with it.
It's like the healing skill, if I get reduced to a couple of hundred HP I use the skill and it takes a hour to recharge. I don't wait there for it to recharge I just get back on with it.
People who wait around for ages for skills to recharge are mad.

I play after work and on weekends and have quite a few fellowship quests so if anyone wants to join then send me a /tell
(Lonelands & North Downs instance/fship quests)
