Hi

I have recently finished my new pc... and it includes a PC-7 and a DS3P.. but my front panel on the PC-7 and the power/working lights don't seem to work.. could someone who has same setup or knows please tell me where to plug them into on the motherboard ?

Thanks

ps - im not really a noob..

I have the same problem with the DS3P & PC-7, I also have a problem with the microphone and headphone ports as the wire isnt long enough to reach the socket on the motherboard.

Anyone with the same setup figured this out?

I have the same prob with my Akasa Zen and Abit AB9 Motherboard, the mic wire won't reach the socket!

Try turning the LED plugs the other way. Perhaps the polarity wires are the wrong way around.
Cheers for that, it worked. Weird how the power switch and reset switch plugs are the opposite way around to the LED plugs

the front audio sockets won't reach my dfi board either, too short by a few cm.

The reset and power switch plugs don't really have a polarity as they are simply shorting the connection when pressed.

Ive got my DS3, and there is no way the microphone wires reach the speaker connections on the otherside of the board :(
Ive got a slight problem with my hdd light, it never lights up, ive plugged it into to the hdd port, and tried swapping it around. Still no luck, also my stupid floppy light is always on :|

ok got the lights working.. but i can not get the front panel (usb etc) on the PC-7 to work... anyone ??

this is the pin out for the board, it isn't to hard to work it out
just take your time. if the usb blacks aint the same use the signal pins
and wire each 1 up .

are all the usbs turned on in the bios?

also make sure your using the right cable as 1 of them is firewire

I take it DS3P has a different layout to that of the DS3? My DS3 and PC7 was connected perfectly, everything reached with a fair bit of slack iirc.
