each year there is a challenge that takes place which is involves projects from boinc. boinc is a program you download that has lots of different projects you can run which using your own computing power for all sorts of things, milkyway@way , seti , world community grid for cancer research and such. but at the moment the Ocuk team is struggling with GPU power for a project called Einstein@home.

the basiscs is .. download boinc, pick Einstein as your project and visit the Einstein website and join the team ocuk, if anybody does want to help and get stuck then there is pretty much unlimited amounts of help on hand!
