Calling Any Plumbers?!?

Hi folks

Just wondering if anyone could lend any advice re a plumbing problem? Moved into our house about 8 months and the hot tap on the bath has never been the best - the water has always come out it pretty weakly, we seem to get quite a few airlocks in other hot taps as well. Problem is, there is no water coming out the hot bath tap at all now, infact there is no water what so ever. All the other taps in the house are fine, just this one, and I was wondering if anyone might have a clue whats causing it?

my parents employed a family friend to fit their bathroom suite and after a bodge up job we have a problem with water pressure in the bath too...on taking off the side of the bath it can be seen the guy used a flexi pipe (metal shielded thingymabob) that wasnt long enough to stretch from the underside of the tap to the copper piping along the bath, the result is a strained and twisted flexi pipe which is why we aint getting the pressure :S needless to say he aint a family friend anymore! maybe you got the same prob?

Thanks for all the replies folks, where is the valve actually located that you think may not be opening? Is it something faulty in the tap?
