I have a question regarding the Annual Assessment

Are you
1\ Able to conduct this at work during business hours.

OR

2\ Expected to to it in your own time at home unpaid.

We all do it in work time, always have.
This years is way easier than it’s been for a few years.

It’s an exam MOT testers have to complete every year to be able to continue testing.

It's always been done in work time and bene paid for by them for me. There's no ruling from DVSA that I know of that enforces this however. I wouldn't be too upset having to do it at home, it's only an hour or two of your time.

@bloodhunter i've got 2 exams worth of questions and answers from this years assessment printed out at work, and can fire them over to you if it's any help?
There should be enough there to pass without any effort on your part.

In our business we have about 10 MOT testers, a few of them choose to do it in the quiet of their own homes but the rest in works time.

Depends, is there a quiet office you can do it in or is there people continually coming in and out disturbing you, if the former would do it at work but if the latter I would request a couple of hours one afternoon to finish early and do it on company time at home in the peace and quiet.
