Calling old GPLers

Ages since I've been on these forums...

Anyway, to cut a long story short, I am looking for a movie from GPL that shows an overtaking move involving a good slipstream. Preferably I'd like something in a nice format that I could easily play within a powerpoint presentation. I only need something a few seconds long.

Why can't I do this myself? Well, my computer with my GPL install on is currently sitting in a box in Brussels (another long story...).

I've had a quick look at the 'Meaning of Life' video and it's in wmv format (and can be easily downloaded). Resolution is only 320 x 190 though with a rock soundtrack.

I've still got a load OcUK race movies, but they're in GPL format and I don't GPL installed (yet....)

LK - I'd love a 10-20 second clip of a great slipstreaming move. I want to use it in a science talk!

Had a quick look through my replays, but most of the overtaking seemed to have happened after a crash! gotta love the ocuk races!!
Got tommorow off so will have a proper gander at some replays for you

LK - cheers pal. to save some time you could just jump in against the ai and load up monza. there should be plenty of opportunities for some passing on the straight there. then you could be part of my talk

how's it going bigsy? are you racing on any sims at the mo?

Nice screenshot, im in the process of updating mine GPL again, I recently bought rFactor and tbh im fairly disappointed how easy the cars all seem to drive, so im going to fire GPL up again for a challenge.

thanks LK - windows media player (v.10) says it needs a codec to play the file but doesn't say what one. any ideas here?

Its encoded by divx, if you need i'll do it uncompressed then you can handle it how you need

Ive got some of the OcUK league races backed up onto DVD, I will have a look thru them and host some of the better ones, most seem to be about 20mb and .rpy files.
