Hey just in the process of putting my new build together. Mobo is installed, im onto the dvdrw drive. How is this best installed- there is 2 rails and then also a hole to put a screw into the side of it. How do you get at the side which is next to the front panel. Do you remove the front panel? or do you remove the whole dvdrw and hdd brackets in order to put the 2 screws in the side.
Thanks

Ah right- just id noticed there is some holes as if you had to screw the drive in aswell. The screws supplied with the case have a bigger head for keeping the drive secure on the rail, but are quite big to screw in, takes quite a bit of force. The screws supplied with the drive dont have as bigger head but screw into the side of the drive better due to them being slightly smaller. Which ones should i use?
Thanks

screw the 4 screws into the dvd drive, then slide the drive in, then use the screws supplied with the dvd drive to secure it in place (no need to attach the 2 the side of the front panel.. you'll need to de-rivet things to get at that...)

All you need to do is screw the four silver screws into the drive outside the case, and then they simply slide in, no need to screw them once there in the case. Don’t use the rubber ones as there for the HDD, you do the same method for both screw them in outside the case and slide them in, simple really :)

Thanks guys. Yea im all sorted now. few more connections to go and then a little cable management and then its gona be time for the first boot
