I have a Webex scheduled for this afternoon with someone in the States. I've arranged the webex but couldn't get a meeting room and I'm armed only with my O2 PAYG mobile! :o:(

The call is approx. 1hr - how much credit will I need to put on my phone?

You're going to get done. Webex has a 0800 and STD local dial code usually, while they charge for both on mobiles as standard can you not just put the meeting back / borrow a landline? Surely this is for work, don't you have a work landline?

Edit: It's going to be minute rate * 60 unless you tell us which PAYG setup you're on, old, new, etc...?

Cannot reschedule the meeting. Yes it's work but I'm a contractor so not always within reach of a desk phone (as not the case here).

Mobile network is O2. I bought the SIM about 5 months ago. Didn't ask for anything in particular - just a PAYG SIM.

In case you're wondering last job provided me with a phone - then I thought I'd hold out for an i5.

Then you're probably on PAG o2 unlimited, call charges are:
Standard call rates apply to voice calls made in the UK to standard UK fixed line numbers (starting 01, 02 or 03). UK standard fixed lines and O2 mobiles 25p/min for first 3 mins then 5p/min for rest of day
Calls to 05, 080 and 082 numbers Calls to 05, 080 and 082 numbers 15p per minute
Try and find the local dial number as it will be a lot cheaper. If it's the same as my webex number you can probably call 020 310 64804.
Call via local = 3x25p+57x5p = £3.60
Call via 0800 = 60x15p = £9.00

Thanks very much Myshra - I really appreciate your advice and you've probably saved me a fair few quid too. :)
