First off, what do you use for this? I previously used fitday.com but wonder if there's anything better out there now? I've heard of myfitnesspal but I'm not sure how they measure up against eachother?

Another query if I may, I've started preparing batch meals in a slow cooker, for example huge chillis. How exactly do you track this on one of these calorie trackers - do I add the individual ingredients altogether to create 'custom meal 1' then split it into serving amounts basically so it can be easily added to macros across other days? Is it easy to edit the ingredients list for a custom meal somehow in the case of using different items?

Also do people general use the default provided values or is everyone custom entering their ingredients?

myfitness pal is a godsend. literally just scan what i eat and go! can add your own recipes and it works out macros for each serving.

also you can search its VAST database and its got everything!

Eg, im going Nando's tomorrow, its got everything they do on their so i can plan my macros around it accordingly :P
