Does anyone here know the change interval for the cambelt on a Clio Diesel 1998 (non td).

The service history is "missing" at the moment, and it doesn't say in the manual.

I've had a google, and I can't find it anywhere.

Cheers

What Renault list is waaaaay too high. If you value your car, every 30k if you drive about 10k a year.

Cheers Lowe, glad it's not my motor :p

Until we find the service history we've got no idea of when it was last done, 68k on it atm :o

Renault say 70k. Which is BS.

It's not just the 70k bit which is the important bit though. The actual change is 70k or 5 years, so no matter what the mileage on the car, it's well overdue (assuming it has never had a belt change). I would also strongly recommend the changing of the tensioner and guide pulley on that engine as well. :)
