Camcorder Advice

How much do you want to spend?

Have a look at the Panasonic NV-GS500. It's a 3CCD camcorder with very good lowlight capability. It has an optical stabaliser and offers true, full resoltution 16:9 widescreen. It takes MiniDV tapes.

It can be purchased in the UK for about £600.

Also, checkout http://www.simplydv.co.uk

They have reviews (UK camcorders) and a great forum to ask question on.

I've had two camcorders for a while now ,A Sharp VL-WD450 & a Panasonic NV-GS11 .I bought the Sharp first and then the Panny cos I liked it better , and wow is it better. I only use the Panny now because it is superior to all others I've used .Picture quality is excellent ,vibrant colours and sharp .Whereas the Sharp has wishy washy colours and seems abit out of focus.Try out the Panasonic versions before buying .The GS250 & GS300 seem nice models.
