Been mucking about with a new camera mount today, a budget version of Dave's with suction cap.

Mounted onto the sunroof for the first part of the video and the bonnet just above the badge for the rest :D

Got funny looks with a camcorder stuck onto the front of the bonnet :p

(btw the fiesta was turning right ;) )

You can really hear the turbo spin up :D

Good quality kept the camera nice and steady :)

Need a suction mount myself, http://www.b-hague.co.uk/camera_suction_pads_vacuum_mounts.htm going to order the sm1 i think, problem is if i want to do bullet cam i need a camera with a Video in feed my current dv cam won't do that :(

Mines a similar version to the SM2, you could try a capture box, but i used one on the first 'Ring trip and it kinda couldn't keep up..

Mate that's swindon!

i go past there to queens drive every day for college, Have to take me out for a spin one day!

If its for the 'ring, remember photos and video are banned, so driving on with a stonking great big camcorder mounted to the car might arrouse suspicion..

I know that ;), camera mount is for the trip over and some normal road driving while at the ring ;)

I've already got a bullet style camera to use but no Video in on my DV camcorder, need to buy either a USB video capture box or another DV camera, really want multi streams tbh, so going to mount one bullet cam on my front bumper (Being an MX its very close to the road) and another higher up ;) or pointing backwards.
