Camcorder or Gopro

I'm going on holiday soon and want to take some video recordings while there,I'm won't be doing any sports or adventure stuff generally so not sure if a GoPro will be a good choice. Been looking at some 4K camcorders though.

What would you recommend please.

Yeah if you're not using a GoPro for what it's made for then it's not the right choice imo. For it's purpose, nothing really comes close to it sub £800.

If you're just using it to document your holiday then yeah you probably wanna go for a camcorder. Budget?

I'm not after anything too fancy, say a max of £250.

Sports cameras have fish-eye lens so bear that in mind.
