Im interested in getting a new camcorder, really dont know much abt whats in the market, i bought a digital samsung camcorder 2yrs back for around £200 and the quality was awful. For example at night the video captured was barely visible, and it was having some difficulty with too much sunlight???, can any one recommend me a decent camera costing abt £150-£200.

I've had quite a few over the years ,have two at the moment but owned a samsung ,I found the colours were vibrant but the picture was a bit grainly .I sold it to buy a Sharp VL-WD450 , then a few months later bought a Panasonic NV-GS11 .I use the Pany all the time , absolutely fab camcorder , picture quality is great and the battery last for ages.I dont recommend the Sharp. The picture is dull & grayish and theres a black border around the picture. Dont use it much now.I would diffinetly recommend a Panasonic , mine was only about £245 .

Seconding Panasonic kit. I bought an NV-GS1 about four years ago and it still works like new despite mucho abuse. Only 800,000 pixels but the image quality was far superior to my 3MP Coolpix 3200. Built like tanks these things and the battery actually lasts as long as it says on the tin. Still does after four years of heavy use. Good stuff.
