Camera As A Present.

Hi guys,

Not really sure If this Is the place to post, As It's more of a spec me but;

I'm after a Camera for the missis for Chirstmas. As you can imagine she's not heavily into photography and is just after a nice compact camera (She'd like a pink one but.... :rolleyes:

) that isn't mega expensive but takes good, bold pictures.

Budget is around 150-200£

As I said, after reading the Photography board, I can see this really Isn't your type of thing, But any help would be greatly appreciated !

The most expensive Canon compact you can afford is never a bad buy. There are some categories where Panasonic do slightly better but in general you can't go wrong with Canon, no matter which segment of the compact market, they're always among the best available...

I know the Canon Ixus 130 comes in pink, could try that. I've seen it for about £150 and it's apparently a pretty good point and shoot.

Canon IXUS 210 is on offer at the rainforest atm, probably worth a shout - in Pink too. It's popular for YouTube bloggers as the video is very good too. It ranges from £180-195 depending on colour.
