Camera Clubs or groups in London

Depends what you mean by 'good' and where in London you're looking for. Harrow, Amersham, Ealing and (I think) Edmonton all have good reputations. I went for Northolt though as I'm relatively new to photography and they seemed the friendliest bunch.

Amersham has a good photography club? I didnt know that and Ive just moved away from there after living there since I was born!

I am looking for a group of advanced/pro photographers to meet and shoot with, who have experience with aspects of being a freelance photographer. Also needs to have adecent studio space for club members to hang out, and not too far from the center of London (I am in zone 1). Meetings at least once a week helps. Can you post a link to some of these clubs (assuming they are on the net)?

Amersham has a really good club. They seem to win everything in the regional competitions. Their website is here .

Of the others if you're looking for clubs in zone one I don't think any of the ones I suggested will suit you. Have a look at this website and type your postcode in the box on the left. It doesn't list every club in the country (Amersham is missing!) but they do seem to have fairly good coverage. What I've found with most clubs though is that they're enthusiastic advanced amateurs rather than pros (as most members seem to be retired) but there are a few pros here and there.

Nearly all clubs meet once a week during the winter and break for the summer. As far as studio space goes you'll have to trawl through the net I'm afraid. I can't help you there.
