Hello :D

After seeing the time lapse videos I really want to give that a try but it seems as if my D3000 can't do this on its own and I can't seem to find a remote that works with it that offers the feature.

Does anyone know of software I can use on my mac or windows if necessary that will let me control the D3000 and take time controlled shots?

Thanx for any help with this!!

Image Caputre on Mac OSX will do this for you, just connect Camera then Image Capture will open, goto File then Take Picture.

i use http://www.sofortbildapp.com/ on my MBP with my Nikon D80 and it works a treat, plus its free and small and not a system hog like i found the nikon software

not my video but this is the same software with a nikon d60 as an example

Thanx for the replies :D

From what I've read the Nikon software doesn't work with the D3000. I've found one called icarus that I'm using at the moment and I will give the others suggested a try!

That sofortbild doesn't seem to work with the D3000 but Icarus does. Shame because Sofortbuild looks like a nice app!

when i was looking up some help for you a lot of forums were saying that the d3000 didnt support tethering very well, at least you have found one that works for you :)
