Camera for a beginner?

Hi,
I'm just starting my adventure with filming. So far, I've been making short videos at parties and weddings, but nothing professional. I've been recording with an iPhone 14, but I know it can't compare to a camera. I'd like to start making better videos, so I need to find a good camera that's easy to use and not too expensive. Could you recommend a camera for a beginner?

iPhone 14 is a good start. Pro-iPhones are better as they have ‘log’ style colour recording available.

You should be able to get great results with an iPhone pro.

When you get used to the fundamentals, there will be something that you think “I need manual / powered zoom”, “I want more bokeh” etc. at that point - cameras become the tool.
