Camera For College, Budget £150

Hello, I've just started an art and design foundation course, and with my old camera getting a bit out of date, I need an upgrade.

I've been out of the loop considering cameras for some while, Ive got around £150 to spend but have no idea what to be looking for ect so any advice would be appreciated.

What is it you need from a camera? What will you be taking pictures of? is size and issue etc etc etc

For the mass majority it will be used to document, what ill be sketching from ie, live scenes ect

so any old compact pretty much will do, I'd get the bext ixus you can afford as they generally produce great results with little or no effort which sounds like what you need.
