Let me start by saying I know very very little about cameras/photography so hopeful you guys will point me in the right direction.
While on holiday last week my mrs started to notice how dated her current digital camera has become, its a Nikon 10MP (not sure on model!), she's had it a good few years now and I would imagine cameras have come a long way since then.
Its her birthday in the middle of October so I figured I'll surprise her with a new camera! Budget wise I'm looking in the £150-200 area, one that can also record short video clips would also be nice. Wouldn't think she'll be doing anything too 'professional' with it either.
Any pointers & recommendations chaps?
