Hey all,
So my parents have their first trip abroad planned for June this year as a silver wedding anniversary present to themselves, and I was thinking of buying them a camera as a present to go along with the holiday. They've got an old 3MP Fuji that's served them well, but their pics of my graduation last year are noticeably poorer than my brother's from his compact camera, so I think it's time for an upgrade for them. I've got a few in mind, but nothing in particular is jumping out at me.
Any suggestions? Preferably closer to £50 then £100 (I'm a poor PhD student, and I think they'd be appalled if I spent that much on them anyway). It needs to be easy to use, not too fiddly, turn out good images without tinkering and have good battery life. Looking for personal experience with them, if possible - I've tried reading reviews online, but nothing's helping me make a choice.
Thanks,
Steven
