I'm heading out this Thursday coming, and thought I better check if any of my kit might be an issue to carry on to the plane....(as hand luggage)?

There will be the body (d80) and two lenses.....
A few batteries...
A few filters and my cokin adaptor
2 lens pens...
couple of cloths...
Silicon Gel....
Gitto's Rocket blower..

Where are you flying from? Where are you flying to? Has the airline told you about any other restrictions over and above these, which I assume are still in effect?

You'll be grand, I've brought the same equipment onto the flight deck on more than one occasion and there wasn't a problem. If they allow it on the flight deck then they're going to allow it in the cabin

i flew a few weeks ago, took my s5600 with extra cards, filters, batteries etc in my normal lowepro case with my f31fd in its lowepro case attached to the back - took it all in as hand luggage.

I took my kit on an aircraft not long ago and there was no problem at all.
