Camera Recommendation

Hi

I'm looking to get a decent camera, mainly for my trips out on my bike. So many shots I could have taken already and haven't had a camera with me!

I've been looking at the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS30. Looks to be an excellent camera and a very good price. My brother has the FP8 which is a very nice camera, just not as much zoom as I'd like hence the choice above.

It'll be mainly point & shoot, but would like it to take some decent shots so some proper settings would be nice, however I do realise most of these cameras just come with slight adjustments and pre-set modes.

Any other recommendations or comments on the FS30?

If I do go for the FS30 what class card will I need for full 720p?

Thanks
Craig.

Quick google search says FS30 is around £150ish so I'm guessing that's your rough budget? If size not an issue and you're after zoom, you may be better off with a bridge camera as it will not only have a good zoom but also give you a lot of manual features while still having the option of point and shoot. Only problem is that they are a lot more cumbersome than compacts.
