Hey all,

In the photo album, I noticed that there is 'Camera Roll' and that's it! Can you not add different albums etc. or are they all just automatically thrown into one album?

Thanks,

Marky

I'm so glad you posted this as I have been thinking the exact same thing.

Ideally I would like my Photos and Videos separate, as well as being able to move things into categorised separate folders.

Yes that seems to be the only way, although AFAIK you can't chose which to save the files into, although I would guess you could create the folders on the PC, sync them then when you take a photo, copy it and paste it in the photo folder, and the same for vids. I haven't tried this myself though.

Hmm, for me I can create folders within iPhoto which then are importable into iTunes and so onto the iPhone. Can't see a way of doing it directly in the phone though.

yeah. Only way to do it is through the PC with iPhone connected.

Create your folders in "My Pictures" or "Pictures" (if you use OS X).

Now, in iTunes go to the iPhone under devices, click the "photos" tab along the top, and tell it to sync photos from a particular folder.

Now choose "My Pictures" or "Pictures" as the root folder, and they'll transfer across in the seperate folders; essentially splitting them up in the photo app on the iPhone. Alternatively, you can use iPhoto to sync events across.

Damn... That needs to be a feature in the next update in my opinion. The ability to organise your photos/videos into different albums would be excellent :)
