Camera Strap

I have it & it's great! Takes the weight of my 300mm F2.8 & is really secure.
With a lighter setup, the narrower shoulder strap would be fine.

I tried a BR but I found it wasn't as comfortable & didn't feel as secure.

Lol my first search on google resulted in a do not buy article on dpreview.

A lot of people here have gone for the Cuff & Leash (inc. me and I love it).

I'm not convinced about the cuff and leash longevity rubbing on the canon metal hoops. The canon metal 'hoops' are quite sharp and I reckon you will have to keep a close eye on the leash and cuff retainers.

Anyway I'd only buy the leash the cuff is pointless.

I like the cuff for when I'm hand handling the camera over say a ledge :)

I'll have a look at wear and tear and report back!

I've got both the Cuff and Leash and the Carry speed FS Pro now and I can say that Cuff and Leash doesn't even come close to half the robustness of the FS Pro which is more stable attached to a 5D3 and 70-200 2.8. It's only good for lighter SLR or maybe a PS.

I agree, the system is a good idea but the cuff is just about useless. I'd use it to stop someone doing a snatch and grab and that's about it. There's no way I'd walk with the leash and a 70-200 2.8 like I would with a black rapid strap.

I use the leash with a 50mm or 17-55 and still end up doing what I did before, wrapping the strap around my hand :D The only plus point for me is removing it when using a tripod is fast.
