Camera Zoom in iOS5

Don't know about you people but I cannot stand the new pinch to zoom on iOS5,I much prefer the old method on iOS4 which they have removed. Thoughts?

Old method is still there once you've pinched (i.e. you can grab the slider and move it about). Not sure if there's any way to start it without pinching though.

You can also get camera apps like Camera+ that might still retain the old way.

Yeh I noticed that - I just find the whole pinch to zoom thing difficult to use when I'm trying to snap a quick photo, very annoying.

Really hope there is a way around this

It's a digital zoom anyway, so I never use it.

same here i never use any kind of digital zoom be it on a phone a camera as the lose of PQ cn be to much for my taste
