I've been looking at the Fuji FinePix S5600 and noticed that ebay have a few that, including delivery and extras, work out a lot cheaper than buying from a shop. Only problem is that they are coming from Hong Kong, would you buy a camera from ebay that comes fomr Hong Kong or is it best to pay that little bit extra for piece of mind? I could save about £50 getting it from ebay but am slightly worried in case somethinf goes wrong when it gets here.

I just bought a canon xius 800 and was debating the same as you.
In the end I bought it from a major on-line store in the uk, paying about £20-30 more than the Ebay ones but £50 less than a nationwide, high-street camera shop (and it was on offer there).

One thing that swung it was I bought a PSP from a hong kong seller and 2 weeks after it arrived I got a Duty invoice for £20, even though it had been marked as a gift (H.M. customs aren't stupid!). So it didn't really work out any cheaper.

Both reasons are what I've been thinking about. Granted I save £50 but if it fails I could be royally stuffed. Think I'll get it from somewhere else then. ;)

I've a few places selling it for around that price, buying it from reading the reccomendations on here as good starter camera to help me get used to the style of a DSLR.

I've just found that camera for £143 in the UK, email me

I really don't understand why people risk the import duty when buying from Hong Kong, it isn't even cheaper!
