Are there any fun creative ways to use the cameras on the Index ? I remember reading that Valve implemented them so devs could use them in interesting ways seeing as they aren't actually used for tracking and Valve fairly recently enabled experimental Stereo-correct Passthrough View mode so there would be no image warping when you use them.

While that's pretty cool does anyone know if there's any other use for them ? Mapping your surroundings maybe ?

Can't wait for new things to appear for the index. There's a nice usb slot behind the frunk waiting for use too.
No idea yet about camera use though.

Few things have already been made by the maker community, Little LED displays to display eyes or even words and also cooling modules, I'm actually getting one of the cooling modules called the Chilldex, Makes a noticeable difference, Costs 50 Canadian dollars and takes a week or 2 to get delivered but well worth it from people I know that bought it, Variable manual speeds via the little buttons either side of the USB or you can just set it to auto, Obviously you need a vented faceplate for it to operate optimally but there are plenty available via the maker shop "Etsy" for dirt cheap.

I've ordered the Chilldex and also ordered myself a vented faceplate but in black not grey like in the pic.
