Camp sites - North/Mid Wales/Lake District?

Hi,

After some recommendations for some camp sites.

Don't need electric, but my Mrs is really fussy about the toilet/shower block so that is by far the most important thing.

Thinking about North/Mid Wales, Lake District but Herefordshire is nice.

Any suggestions?

We've camped here a few times:

Whilst the facilities are... "sparse" shall we say, the toilet and shower block is decent enough (the showers have meters which take £1), and the site itself is pretty quiet (depending when you go), and the views are fantastic!

The owners can be a bit... abrupt, but otherwise seem decent enough, and they sell homemade lamb burgers which are absolutely lovely when cooked over the firepit

While the beach right next to the site is pretty rocky (although great for rock-pooling at low tide if you have kids), about 15 mins drive away is Fairbourne, which is a huge sandy beach.
