Hi simple question i hope!

Can a stock E4300 (or 6300) run passive in an Antec Fusion using something like the Thermalright Ultra-120? The CPU would never be used for gaming, only using MCE (so decoding MPEG2/4/h.264).

Thanks!

My E6300 ran fine at even 2.8GHz with a Scythe Ninja on it in passive mode. :)

Very impressive, What temps were you getting? I should get mine tomorrow for my E6300

I can't remember now, it was quite a bit ago and I've been running at 3.0GHz and 3.2GHz since then. If I downclock back to 2.8GHz any time soon I'll unplug the fan header and post temps. :)
